ABOUT US

We, the students of Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, proudly present "TRINITY 2023"- An International Medical Students' Conference, now in its eleventh year. The 3 days of the Conference comprise of multiple Competitive Events, a Keynote Address and Orations by the most renowned personalities in the field of medicine, from all over the world.

TRINITY has been an illustrious platform and an unparalleled experience for over thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students, interns and doctors.

Since its conception in the year 2011, TRINITY has evolved from a one day academic event to a 6 day Medical Colloquium.

The competitive events like Case Presentation, Poster Presentation, Paper Presentation, Quizzes, etc. give the students a prestigious platform to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. In addition, there are pre-conference workshops and events to teach them the skills of Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Management. The Orations open up the young minds, and stimulate them to think, to reason, to question and to research. Above all, the Conference also helps to develop healthy relations among the students of various colleges and gives them a chance to interact with senior medical practitioners.

Our Motto : " THINK, TESTIFY, TRIUMPH " emphasizes on the ignition of the minds of the future doctors of the nation and to develop a competitive research-based and reasoning attitude in them.

Building on these past years of success, we aim to take this year's TRINITY to a whole new level with unprecedented participation combined with our goal to connect with even more young minds from across the globe!

FROM THE CHAIRMAN'S DESK

It is with a sense of great elation and personal pride that I am penning down my message for the eleventh edition of Trinity as we embark on the next decade of excellence. TRINITY continues to grow and achieve new heights.

TRINITY 2022 witnessed over 2500 delegates and over 700 participants. It was a beautiful culmination of the 10th year of Trinity and the 75th year of our hospital. Although we were emerging from a pandemic with many unforeseen circumstances, we saw participation from many states all over India. We also had the pleasure of hosting eminent doctors such as Dr. Bhimsen Singhal and Dr. Ramakant Deshpande.

A special thanks to Dr. Snehalata Deshmukh, Ex-Dean LTMMC & GH and Ex-Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai University for always helping TRINITY to achieve its goals. A special mention about the 10 pre-conference workshops spanning over 3 days, and then events including quizzes and debates.

I would also like to put on record, my gratitude for the unstinted help and guidance from our Dean, Dr. Mohan Joshi. I would also like to mention my deep sense of appreciation for our Organizing Secretary, Parth Bhanushali, a man with a kind heart but a firm hand. His entire Conference Organizing Committee has walked the extra mile, not only to excel as medical students and researchers, but also as competent managers. A big thank you to the entire staff of LTMGH, delegates, parents and sponsors.

TRINITY 2019 witnessed over 2,700 delegates and over 900 participants. For the first time ever, we had students from various countries participating in the research conference. It saw participation from many states all over India. We also had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Prakash Baba Amte, Dr. Hitendra Mahajan and Surg. Com. Vivek Hande.

A special thanks to Dr. Snehalata Deshmukh, Ex-Dean LTMMC & GH and Ex-Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai University for always helping TRINITY to achieve its goals.. A special mention about the 8 pre-conference workshops spanning over 3 days, and nine events including Meditronix, a one-of-its-kind event which saw engineering students present their work on medical research.

I would also like to put on record, my gratitude for the unstinted help and guidance from our Dean, Dr. Mohan Joshi. I would also like to mention my deep sense of appreciation for our Organizing Secretary, Rohitesh Choudhary, a man with a kind heart but a firm hand.
