Humanity needs more efficient, affordable and practical solutions to modern-day medical challenges in the hospital. MEDINOVA gives students a chance to do something for humanity by kindling innovation and pioneering functional, effective solutions to overcome healthcare's biggest challenges.


RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. A problem statement shall be proivided to which the participants must provide an innovative solution.
  2. Participants may also opt to create a medically relevant problem statement of their own choice, if they wish to do so.
  3. The team should strictly comprise of 1-3 participants.
  4. Participants should send an abstract of their solution strictly in PDF format in not more than 500 words.
      Abstract should consist of:
    • Problem statement
    • Aim
    • Objective
    • Solution
    • Feasibility and application
    • Conclusion
  5. Abstracts will be heavily scrutinised and plagiarism will be subject to disqualification.
  6. Top 4 enteries will qualify on the basis of abstract and will have the opportunity to showcase their innovation at Trinity 2020.
  7. Each team will get a total time of 9 mins on the stage (inclusive of 5 minutes AV presentation, followed by a question answer round by the judges).
  8. Presentation should be strictly in MS Office 2010 or higher versions.
  9. The name of institution should not be revealed at any time during the presentation.
  10. The judges' verdict shall be binding.

Registration Date: Participants should e-mail their abstracts latest by 20th February, 2020 to [email protected]
The entries will be screened and the selected participants will be informed accordingly.
Selected participants shall showcase their presentation on 20th March, 2020.

  • Overcoming the hurdle of rising biomedical waste.
